Presentation
The Complex Systems Registry is an Open Source federative platform that has been developed within the FET coordination action Open Network of Centres of Excellence in Complex Systems (ONCE-CS) within the framework of the Complex Systems Society.
The aims of this initiative are
- to become the main Information Hub for the Complex Systems Community,
- to offer pre-installed Web facilities to all institutions, projects, working groups, ... of the Complex Systems Community,
- to guarantee the inter-operability between all installed Web sites.
All scientific institutions, projects and working groups in the field of Complex Systems can apply to JOIN THE FEDERATION and develop their own Web site within this platform. New hosted Web sites are installed within minutes, immediately come with a lot of Plug&Play facilities and Web Services (more details here), and are directly embedded into the Complex Systems' Network. Nevertheless, each hosted Web site can be entirely customized to fit the institution's needs as well as its design chart and privacy requirements. A tikiwiki sandbox is open to everybody wanting to see what a new tiki looks like and how easy it is to customize and enrich it.
This free service aims at increasing the cohesion of the European Complex Systems Community while promoting interaction with CS communities of other continents. Contact us for more information.
